The worst part about being latose intolerant? The lack of CHEESE of course. 😦
But don’t worry I am here to make it all better with my recipe for lactose free Cheese (and bacon) sauce. 🙂
So lets begin!
You will need:
- 2tblsp of self raising flour
- 2tblsp of dairy free/lactose free spread
- 2 handfuls of lactose free cheese
- Half a cup of lactose/ dairy free milk
- 3 rashers (Bacon) (optional)
Melt the lactose free spread on medium head then add in the flour and mix until lightly golden.
Next add in the milk and leave to simmer for 3-4 minutes stirring frequently. (add extra flour if you would like the sauce to me thicker)
Now add in the cheeses and leave for roughly two minutes to melt. Stirring frequently.
Separately you can fry some bacon and chop it up and add it into the sauce.
Serve with chips or pasta.
Dont be afraid to change up recipies if you are not completely happy with them. If want to add something in or take something else do it. It is all about trial and error. It took me too goes to find the measurements I was happy with for this recipe.
